Baltimore, MD - ArtiMed Inc., a leading specialized medical risk stratification company, announced today that it has been chosen as one of the 10 innovative startups nationwide to participate in the Summer 2023 Health Plan Innovation Roundtable (HPIR) Academy program. The HPIR's goal is to promote the adoption of transformative healthcare solutions to drive impact.

Through the HPIR model, member plans can streamline their innovation efforts and requests for vendors into a sustainable and proactive process. The HPIR identifies and prioritizes emerging solutions that align with the strategic priorities of its health plan members. It provides a platform for health plans to connect with innovative companies for due diligence, exploration, and pilot implementation. This allows health plans to share their implementation experiences and differentiate their value propositions in local markets. The HPIR consists of 22 regional health plans, representing a total of over 30 million covered lives.

As a participant in the HPIR Academy, ArtiMed will have the opportunity to showcase its suite of products designed for risk identification and stratification of post-COVID conditions in disability and health insurance, workers’ comp and employee absence management domains.
